The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "overpower" the American as the combatants met personally to promote the upcoming bout.
Former two-time unified title holder Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a huge mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I'm going to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35, declared.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
Despite these statements, a calm Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - typically known for his dramatics - exchanged pleasantries and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "not serious" after the Cameroonian declined a match opportunity.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"Jake Paul outshines Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's boxing ability.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Still, the relative newcomer remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making huge paydays.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly in the works for 2026.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers participated in the usual confrontation, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how surprising this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is actually going ahead.
